We understand here at SBT that the first visit to a new church can be a stressful experience. Here are a few things to know:
Our Beliefs
- At SBT, we affirm the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
- We believe that Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, is the Son of God, who lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world by dying on the cross. God raised Him from the dead on the third day, conquering sin and death. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. He will return to judge the world and gather God’s people to dwell with Him forever. Jesus serves as our example to follow and imitate.
What to Expect during your visit
- Your greeting will be friendly but not overbearing.
- Everyone has a story and baggage. As Jefferson Bethke said, “We are not a museum for good people, we are a hospital for the broken.”
- You will hear a Bible message taken directly from the Scriptures given with clarity, passion and application.
- You will experience a worship service that emphasizes Jesus Christ and His gospel. It will be an uplifting and Christ exalting.
- We just simply present worship music that stirs the heart and leads the worshiper to appreciate Jesus Christ.

At Savannah Baptist Temple we want to make sure your children are spiritually fed. Every Sunday we offer children’s church for kids aged 4-12 to get the Bible catered to their level by our capable and loving teachers.
At Savannah Baptist Temple your children’s safety is priority. We offer nursery for children aged 0-3 years old. Our nursery staff is stocked with capable and loving workers that will ensure your child is taken care of so that you may enjoy the service.
